Trade Details & Context

This section captures the core information for the trade entry. Recording these fields consistently makes it easier to filter performance by portfolio, broker, asset, direction, plan, and emotional state.

  • Portfolio & Broker: Select the specific account and platform where this trade is executing.
  • Trading Pair & Side: Define the exact asset (e.g., BTCUSDT (Spot)) and your market direction (Long or Short).
  • Trading Plan: Attach the strategy or checklist you are using for the trade.
  • Emotion: Tag your current psychological state (Confident, Neutral, Anxious, FOMO, Frustrated, Revenge).
  • Notes: Document your market thesis, relevant catalysts, or additional observations.

Usage note: Tracking Emotion alongside execution helps identify whether specific mental states are associated with worse entries, early exits, or larger losses.

Trading Plan & Compliance

Attach a trading plan to compare the trade against your predefined entry rules, exit rules, and risk constraints.

  • Strategy Alignment: Use a default strategy (e.g., Long Scalp, Long Swing) or attach a custom trading plan.
  • Dynamic Checklists (Entry & Exit): Your predefined entry and exit rules populate automatically. Items marked IMPORTANT identify required checks.
  • Real-Time Compliance Alerts: The system compares your trade inputs against the constraints of the selected plan.

Compliance note: Live alerts warn you when the trade does not meet plan requirements, such as maximum risk, required patterns, or minimum R-Multiple.

Trade Patterns

This section records the technical patterns, risk factors, and mistakes associated with the trade, so similar setups can be reviewed together later.

  • Setup Patterns: Tag the primary technical formations behind the trade idea (e.g., Abandoned Baby Bullish, AB=CD Bullish).
  • Timeframe: Tag the timeframe where the setup occurred (e.g., 5m, 1H, 4H, Daily).
  • Risk Patterns: Tag technical factors that may work against the trade, such as entering directly into major daily resistance.
  • Mistakes Tracking: After the trade, flag execution mistakes such as entering too early, misidentifying a breakout, or chasing price.

Review note: Timeframe and mistake tracking make it easier to compare how the same setup performs under different market conditions.

Orders, Stops, and Targets

This section defines the trade’s entries, stop losses, fees, and profit targets.

  • Trade Orders & Scaling In: Log the exact Time, Action (Open/Close Long, or Open/Close Short, depending on the trade side), Price, Amount, and Fees. Click New order to map out complex executions where you scale into a position across multiple price levels.
  • Trade Stop Losses: Set your invalidation price and stop amount. The system calculates the risk against your current portfolio balance.
  • Trade Targets: Define your target prices and scaling percentages for partial or full exits.
