Analytics Overview

The Analytics Overview is the ultimate diagnostic hub for your trading career. Unlike the dashboard, which gives you a quick daily summary, this page is designed to tear down your strategy mathematically, exposing your true edge and highlighting areas for improvement.

Global Analytics Features

Before diving into the specific widgets, it is important to understand two powerful features built into the entire Analytics page:

⚖️

All-Time vs. Period Benchmarking You will notice that almost every card on this page is split down the middle. The left side shows your All-Time statistics, while the right side shows data for the Selected Period (chosen at the top of the page). This allows you to instantly see if your recent performance is improving or degrading compared to your historical baseline.

💡

Summary insights You don’t have to be a data scientist to understand your stats. Throughout the page, look for the lightbulb icons and text bars. The platform automatically reads your metrics and generates plain-English feedback (e.g., “All-time Stops are much wider than actual drawdown (12%) - tighten them to free up capital”).

Maximize Your Edge: The Portfolio Performance Chart

At the very top of your dashboard sits your master timeline chart. This interactive panel serves as your primary performance map, plotting your daily account metrics into a unified workspace so you can instantly track long-term capital momentum, isolate fee friction, and monitor your exact equity trajectory.

The Master Equity Visualizer
What It Means

This is your interactive financial timeline. It plots your daily account balance, exact returns, cash flow, and exchange fees into a single, toggleable view. By clicking the legend items, you can instantly strip away visual noise to isolate specific metrics, like mapping your Long vs. Short profitability or your absolute daily fee costs.

The Health Check (Good vs. Bad)

A healthy chart shows a smooth, upward-trending equity curve where actual trading profits are the primary driver of growth. A toxic chart looks erratic, filled with deep valleys, sharp drawdowns, or an account balance that only stays afloat because of frequent lime-green deposit injections (which mask a negative trading edge).

Your Psychological Edge & Benefit

It transforms raw, confusing ledger data into a crystal-clear visual narrative. By toggling between your absolute Profit & Loss and the All Series view, you can instantly diagnose if overtrading is secretly eating your edge, ensuring your actual take-home profits always outpace your execution costs.

Visual Controls

  • Interactive Legend: The metric labels at the top of the chart act as functional toggles. Click any data point to turn it on or off instantly, allowing you to strip away visual noise and isolate specific variables just like before.
  • Profit & Loss Chart (First Icon): Switch to this view to compare your absolute daily values, featuring a clear breakdown of your Daily P&L against your overall Account Balance.
  • All Series Chart (Second Icon): Switch to this comprehensive line chart view to map your full equity curve and access the complete suite of advanced tracking metrics.

Tracked Metrics

The system automatically aggregates and color-codes your ledger into distinct data points. You can toggle any of these on the chart depending on your selected view:

The Trading Edge: Switch to the All Series view (the second icon), turn off the Account Balance line and leave only Fees and Return on. The Profit & Loss bar view is a fixed two-series combo, so the individual series toggles only exist in All Series. Days where the fee line climbs toward the return line are days where overtrading or high leverage caused exchange commissions to aggressively eat into your net profitability.
