Account

The Account section is the core identity layer for your Trading Metrics profile. This is where you manage the personal details that define how your workspace is presented, how your timezone and data are interpreted, and which default portfolio and broker are used across the app.

Personal Information

The top section covers the details that shape your user profile. These settings are particularly important for consistency: your name, email, and preferred region should reflect how you want to be represented and how the platform should interpret your time-based data.

Core profile fields

  • Email: The email linked to your account. This is used for important updates, support communication, and login-related activity.
  • Name: The name visible in your account profile and trade-related records.
  • Country: The country you operate from, which influences regional settings and account context.
  • Timezone: Essential for aligning your trade logs and charts with the correct market timestamps.
  • Date / Time Format: Controls how date and time values are displayed in your app experience.
  • Number Format: Controls how financial values and decimals appear in portfolio and analytics views.

Default Portfolio & Broker

The final fields are designed to reduce friction when you open the platform and begin work.

  • Default Portfolio: Choose the portfolio you want to load first when you log in or switch back to your main workspace.
  • Default Broker: Select the broker or exchange you most commonly use so your workspace defaults align with your actual trading setup.

This makes the app feel more personal and more efficient, especially if you manage multiple portfolios or trading environments.
